About Ayisat Aweni Raji Memorial Islamic Centre

Asalaam alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
“Peace be upon you and God’s mercy and blessings.”

We are pleased to welcome you to Ayisat Aweni Raji Memorial Islamic Centre – the beating heart of the Muslim community in Iseyin, Oyo State and surrounding areas.
The Ayisat Aweni Raji Memorial Centre was built by the children of Alhaja Ayisat Aweni Raji in loving memory of their mother.
On the 16th of November, 2021, the Centre was inaugurated by His
Eminence, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) alongside the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III.

The Ayisat Aweni Raji Memorial Islamic Centre isn’t just a place of worship, it is a community Center for all consisting of a mediation Centre, well equipped Office Complex, Library and a massive prayer area of reasonable capacity, which will serve as an avenue for the promotion of Islam, preserving the Islamic identity, supporting and building a viable muslim community based on the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammed (SAW).
One of the Visions behind the Centre is to create an opportunity for vital issues like marriage, divorce and inheritance to be resolved amicably according to the rules and regulations of Allah.
It’s also equipped with a modern ICT facility to cater for distance services in line with the current trend in the world where technology and covid-19 have substantially changed the way we do things.

We welcome you to browse our beautiful website which has much more information to find out more about us and remember our Centre is open to all and is ready to go into partnership in carrying out its objectives.

Asalaam alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
“Peace be upon you and God’s mercy and blessings.”
